Videos and Performance Simulators

“Leading in the classroom” was developed with the Helga Breuninger Stiftung and intus³ for teachers in Baden-Württemberg, as part of the Performance Simulator Baden-Württemberg project. Teachers watch real scenes from everyday school life, decide how they would act and get feedback from the coach on knowing, wanting and being able to. At the end, the feedback shows their personal competence profile.

For BASF SE, transformis developed the Glysantin Training Simulator for around 3,000 salespeople at the coolant brand's sales partners. It is built on 40 video case studies covering product knowledge and typical customer objections, developed with the brand manager and experienced salespeople, and reached the salespeople on USB sticks. The target was a competence level of at least 75 percent; the average achieved was 82 percent. Sales in the group trained with the simulator rose by 25 percent, while a comparison group trained in seminars lost 5 percent over the same period and a group without training lost 7 percent. In the 2011 round of the “European Award for Technology Supported Learning”, the simulator was selected from 70 submissions as one of the twelve finalists.

For the Chinese Ministry of Education’s reform programme “Technology Changes Teaching”, transformis developed a dedicated Performance Simulator with East China Normal University (ECNU): 14 video-based simulations on using digital media in the classroom.
