AI readiness check
A well-founded assessment of how well prepared the company is for the economic use of AI.

Before a company invests in AI initiatives, a sober stocktake is worthwhile. The AI readiness check shows which conditions already exist in strategy, organisation, competencies and data, and where the gaps are. It creates a shared baseline for the next decisions.
What you come away with
- An overview of current AI initiatives and the expectations attached to them
- An assessment of organisational, personnel and data-related conditions
- Prioritised recommendations for the next steps
How we work
- 01
Set the frame
Agree the purpose, scope and participants of the check with senior management.
- 02
Take stock
Record current initiatives, usage and expectations through interviews and documents.
- 03
Assess the conditions
Assess strategy, responsibility, competencies, capacity for change and the data situation.
- 04
Evaluate the results
Discuss strengths and gaps with the leadership team and prioritise next steps.
Capturing the actual situation
There are often already initiatives, tools and use by employees on their own initiative, without anyone having an overview. The check records where AI is already being used or trialled today, and with what expectations. This includes conversations with managers and departments and a review of existing initiatives. It shows what is actually happening in the company.
Examining conditions beyond the technology
AI only has an effect if the organisation can embed new applications in its structures, decision-making processes and routines. We therefore look at strategic clarity, responsibilities, existing competencies and the capacity to learn and change. Added to this are the requirements for data quality, data protection and information security. The technical assessment of systems and data is carried out together with the relevant specialists.
An honest look at your own starting conditions spares you initiatives that fail for lack of foundations.
Naming gaps and deriving next steps
The results are evaluated with the leadership team. Strengths, bottlenecks and risks are named clearly. This leads to recommendations on which conditions should be created first. It also becomes clear where an AI strategy, capability building or a limited pilot makes sense.
Book an initial callWhy an assessment comes first
Technological possibilities often develop faster than an organisation's competencies and structures. Anyone unaware of these different speeds plans initiatives that fail for lack of the necessary conditions. The check makes this gap visible before resources are committed.
Including several perspectives
The views of senior management, departments and IT can differ considerably. We deliberately gather these perspectives and make the differences open to discussion. It is precisely these differences that indicate where direction or alignment is missing.

Deliverables: An overview of current AI initiatives and the expectations attached to them; An assessment of organisational, personnel and data-related conditions; Prioritised recommendations for the next steps.
The check is not a technical IT or data-protection audit and not a certification. It does not evaluate individual software products. More detailed technical and legal reviews are coordinated with the relevant specialists where needed.
Frequently asked questions
Who is the check suitable for?
For companies that have recognised the relevance of AI but do not know where they stand or where to start.
Do you also assess IT systems and data?
We record the requirements for data, data protection and information security. The technical assessment is carried out with the relevant specialists.
What follows the check?
Depending on the results, an AI strategy, targeted capability building or a limited pilot. Senior management decides on the basis of the findings.
