DVVision: future questions across company boundaries
DVV had gone through restructuring and efficiency programmes. For the next phase, growth, customer orientation and new value creation were to be addressed together, across the boundaries of the individual companies. The programme launched in 2018 therefore combined strategic work with a change in collaboration: leadership retreats, cross-functional feedback formats and new decision-making routines.
During the pandemic, management decided to continue the programme in digital formats. Reviews in 2023 examined goals, developments achieved and open topics; corporate development took on methodological expertise and process responsibility.
Municipal utilities and infrastructure in the Ruhr area
Utilities and infrastructure companies have to function reliably every day and at the same time develop fundamentally. Besides DVV, our client list for the Ruhr area includes Elektromark in Hagen, E.ON Fernwärme in Gelsenkirchen and Edelhoff Umweltservice in Castrop-Rauxel.
The strategy process at CURRENTA's chemical park in Leverkusen also belongs in this field: it was about a shared strategic direction for business units that had previously been considered separately.
